We are 4 members of the British Memory team that compete in Memory competitions both in the UK and abroad
Ben Pridmore is a 31-year-old accountant from Derby, he's been competing in memory championships since way back in the year 2000, he was world champion in 2004 and currently sitting in second place on the world ranking list. He has memorised a pack of cards in 26.28 seconds and 4140 binary digits in half an hour and he was on The Weakest Link once.
James Kemp is 28 years old, he is a fan of brainwave based training. He has worked with BBC Radio 4 on a memory program as well as local TV and radio in relation to memory training. He came third in this years UK Memory Championship.
James Paterson is a psychology graduate and became interested in memory techniques during a lecture in which they were briefly mentioned. He then bought a book on the subject and was hooked! He has now competed in 4 competitions, most recently in the World Memory Championship in Bahrain last year where he won a bronze medal in the names and faces event.
James Ponder is a Web Developer who has been competing in memory competitions since 2005, he is the current UK Memory Championship runner-up and came 12th in the World Memory Championship 2007.
